Brunswick Osteopathy

About me

I’m Jamie (he/him) an osteopath working in Abbotsford and Brunswick with an interest in chronic conditions, posture and sport-related pain. My aim is to get you feeling better as quickly as possible. Additionally, I want to give you the understanding and tools you need to keep feeling better and enjoying using your body.

I love working with people to help them learn more about their bodies. I help my clients feel more at home in their own skin.

To do this, I work collaboratively with my clients. You are the expert on your body. I have experience and skills in working with bodies. Together we can work together to get you feeling more aware of what your senses are telling you, helping you feel more in control of your life.

I have experience in helping people with low back pain, neck pain, shoulder and jaw pain, diaphragmatic tension, gluteal tendinopathy (aka tendinitis), post sports-injury rehabilitation etc. Using my skills and experience, I can help address longer-term and newer pains and get to the bottom of niggling complaints. Practising osteopathy holistically in Brunswick, I’m here to help you with your condition.

The techniques I use include:

  • hands-on body adjustments
  • parasympathetic activation
  • strain-counterstain
  • posture and strategies for better breathing
  • Muscle Energy Technique
  • joint manipulation
  • joint articulation
  • biodynamics
  • balanced ligamentous tension
  • and education.

I can use any or all of these in a session to get my clients feeling better and understanding how to stay that way.

My Services

Osteopathy is a hands-on therapy involving the use of various techniques, chosen specifically for each patient. As an osteopath, I treat you as a whole person, not just your injury or complaint. We will work together to get you feeling your best and understanding your body more deeply. Any and all questions are welcome. Check out this page for more information on osteopathy.ย
